As the Avionics Team Lead for this rocket, most of my work focused on the onboard electronics and computer systems. However, I spent time on many other parts of the project, while also serving the club through education and leadership.

Rotaract Club of Duke University

Our club collected funding to build two libraries that were placed within the Durham community. I worked on logistics for both builds and taught best building practices to other members.

As Director of Professional Development, I organized several events that brought community members to speak to Duke students. As the host, I facilitated discussions between students and industry mentors during Career Night, while Service Above self focused on the local and international service experience of adult Rotary members.

As Treasurer, I worked with the Finance Director to generate funds for the club through various events, including a bake sale and the coordination of a compensated volunteering activity with the Duke Athletic Department. Beyond fundraising, I managed the financials for the club and laid out plans for effectively spending our money.

On numerous occasions, our members have participated in letter writing activities for a variety of recipients. Projects have included writing to seniors in nursing homes, sick children, and hospital patients overseas.
