Space Diplomacy Lab
Researching the effects of diplomatic and economic developments on the growing space industry
Beginning in the summer of 2023, I joined the Space Diplomacy Lab as an undergraduate research associate. Founded several years ago by Duke professor Dr. Giovanni Zanalda, the lab focuses on analyzing anything and everything that might have an effect on the rapidly growing space industry. Whether it be new policies, international agreements, rising startups, or emerging markets, the lab is interested in all things space. Much of my work thus far has involved analysis of modern agreements between space agencies and governments while also developing a better understanding for the economic relationships in today’s space industry. Going forward, I will be working on producing a number of different projects researching the global supply chains affecting the industry, emerging startups and space-faring nations, and data analysis on current major players. I will continue to post updates on my developing work, so check back here for more!
